Honoured to Be Interviewed by Radio Tempo 

I am thrilled to share that I was recently interviewed by our local radio station, Radio Tempo, as part of their local entrepreneurs program. It was a great opportunity to talk about how I started my art career and what I have planned for the future. You can listen to the interview (in Finnish) from here. How I got started with Textured Art?

We start the interview by discussing how I got started with textured art. I share the story of how I started painting during my parental leave in 2022. I was looking for a new creative outlet and something to do while our daughter was asleep. I discovered textured art online and decided to give it a try.

How is it going now?

We then move on to discussing how my art career is currently doing. I talk about how my online courses are doing and how one of my current focuses is to expand from Instagram to also to YouTube and TikTok.

What have been my Biggest Challenges?

We then discuss what my biggest challenges and obstacles have been with my art career. I discuss about the uncertainty and negative inner dialogue when I just started out and also share the two challenges my art business currently faces.

What have been my Best Accomplishments?

The interview then takes the turn to the positive and we discuss what my best accomplishments have been. I discuss the journey from starting my social media presence as an artist to then becoming the largest textured artist on social media (as far as I am aware, based on the number of followers) and the successful launch of my online courses.

What are my future plans?

We then finish the interview by discussing my future plans. I talk more about my current focus to expand from Instagram to also YouTube and TikTok. I also discuss my plans for hiring someone to help me with the business in the coming year, and how I am planning on launching my own texture paste product for sale still later this year.
