What's the difference between a canvas print and an original painting?

Canvas prints are fine art print reproductions of my artwork. They are an affordable and customisable (different size and frames) alternative to my original artwork. As they are prints, they are two-dimensional, so there are no actual textures on the canvas print. The canvas prints are manufactured and shipped by my print on demand partner. The original artwork are one-of-a-kind, handmade paintings. The original paintings where I have used textures are three-dimensional. You can see a comparison video of the prints and originals below.

Do you accept commissions?

Do you teach art?

Yes I do, you can find all my online classes from the header tab "Courses".

CANVAS PRINT VS ORIGINAL

Comparison between canvas prints and original artwork

Canvas prints are fine art print reproductions of my artwork. They have the same look as my original artwork, except that as prints they are two-dimensional.

The canvas prints are printed on 330g cotton canvas with an 18mm pine stretcher frame. They are semi-matte HD UV prints that are water and fade resistant. You can choose to include a black or white floating frame. They are ready to hang and come equipped with toothed hangers.
