    What Materials Do You Need?

To start textured art, you'll only need a few basic materials:

    • texture paste
    • canvas
    • palette knife
    • acrylic paint & paintbrush

If you are a beginner, I recommend reading the Material Guide first where I explain everything in more detail.

    You can't mess it up

Textured art is really forgiving. You cannot really ruin it. If something does not work out, simply flatten the paste and try again. Don't be afraid to fail.

    The Artist behind textuuri

    Henri Hagelberg

I’m Henri Hagelberg, a self-taught artist. I discovered textured art during parental leave in 2022 and have been sharing everything I’ve learned ever since — because art should be fun and shared, not secretive.

I love showing my process, teaching openly, and helping people to explore their creativity.
